Senior Account Manager - Middleware / Munich

This Senior Account Manager is responsible for sales of products and services. The AM has to build strong relationships with key prospects and customers. The AM is also responsible for building a strong customer base and manage the relationships to customers and prospects.

  • Grow market penetration within local assigned territory or accounts
  • In-depth knowledge of German/central European market and accounts
  • Develop and manage C-level relationships to demonstrate the value of the products and services
  • Engage appropriate resources to facilitate sales process
  • Partner with strategic alliances and partners to leverage partnerships
  • Position involves travel to customer sites across Central Europe (Germany, Austria, Switzerland); position is based in Munich

MAIN QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Must have consistently shown deep knowledge in software sales management; minimum of 5 years sales experience.
  • Solid understanding of the IT industry especially the middleware space
  • Experience managing and negotiating major enterprise opportunities, required.
  • Must have extensive and market knowledge.
  • Ability to clearly articulate business issues and solutions
  • Ability to influence and negotiate at a senior management level


AND

  • 5+ years in software sales
  • High flexibilty and willingness to travel up to 5 days per week
  • Very strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Teamworker
  • High degree of self motivation
